“ENCOURAGE THEM TO HAVE A CLOSER RELATIONSHIP WITH ME”
I felt inspired by the Holy Spirit to start Relation Church in 2016.
I started wondering on which area or aspect of the gospel the Lord wanted me to emphasize. Not long after that, while waiting on the LORD IN PRAYER, The Lord inspired my spirit again with this statement:
“ENCOURAGE THEM TO HAVE A CLOSER RELATIONSHIP WITH ME”
So I am here today, to encourage you either to have a first-time relationship with Him OR to develop a relationship with Him than ever before.
There is a Spanish story of a father and son who had become estranged. The son ran away, and the father set off to find him. He searched for months to no avail. Finally, in a last desperate effort to find him, the father put an ad in a Madrid newspaper. The ad read: Dear Paco, meet me in front of this newspaper office at noon on Saturday. All is forgiven. I love you. Your Father. On Saturday, 800 more Pacos showed up, all of them – looking for forgiveness and love from their estranged fathers.”
In the Gospels, Jesus used many parables in His preaching and teachings. Parables are simple stories, to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson. One of the most popular parables of Jesus in the Bible is called The Parable of the Prodigal Son. Some translations call it, The parable of the Two Brothers, The Parable of the Lost Son, The Parable of the Loving Father and Parable of the Forgiving Father. The Parable of the Prodigal Son appears in Luke 15:11–32. So many rich spiritual nuggets could easily be located inside this Parable. But I would like to emphasize just two of them. The first and foremost Spiritual nugget is the son’s wise decision in his words “I will arise and go to my father”.
And the 2nd Spiritual nugget is the unfailing love of the Father for his son.
Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to bring to your attention that, the prodigal son in the story represents you and me. We’ve taken our leave-off God and travelled too far from Him. Unlike the prodigal who said ‘I will arise and return to my father’ – We are rather travelling at a very high speed – wallowing in the doldrums!
The prodigal son arose and headed home, into the loving arms of his father. His troubles ended there. His life turned around that day.
A new chapter of his life was opened. Never be afraid to start all over again! Arise, and go back to your father GOD – He is waiting to receive you into his arms. God is patiently waiting for all sinners to return home. He is Waiting for every wandering child to retrace his or her steps back home. The Decision you make today will determine your destiny tomorrow. There are probably countless people living with guilt and seeking their father’s forgiveness. If you are one of those people, then you’ve come to the right place. Daddy has left a missive for you. It reads ‘I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love.
With unfailing love, I have drawn you to myself. There is No More War!
You are no longer estranged son or daughter.
He is inviting you to Come home because there is no case against you.
Though your sins are like scarlet, He will make them as white as snow.
Though they are red like crimson, He will make them as white as wool
The Prophet said, Isaiah 51:3, The LORD will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins, he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.
Eden is where God’s relationship with man started. The devil came and made Man’s Eden like wilderness. God says He is about to transform your current wilderness into a beautiful garden like Eden.
This means that God is not only bringing Salvation your way,
your health is also part of the bargain, your family problems are also on the agenda, your finances will not be put aside, your immigration issues are also of concern to Him. That personal pinching issue will also be attended to, On that day when He transforms your wilderness and
makes it look like the garden of Eden.
He will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten,
He will restore to you the years that the cankerworm hath eaten
He will restore to you the years that the caterpillar hath eaten
He will restore to you the years that the l palmerworm hath eaten
if and only if you will decide to accept His offer of a relationship today.
Can two persons walk together without agreeing? NO! You must agree to stop the ‘wild goose chase’ and surrender your life to Christ. Christ is calling you! Can you hear his voice in your heart today? He says softly,
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
